At Ivett & Reed we take our environmental responsibilities very seriously and we strive at all times to minimise the impact of our operations on the local community and the wider environment. We aim to operate in a sustainable fashion, with particular focus on the following areas:
Solar energy
We had 158 solar panels installed in 2011 and collectively they produce up to 37kWp of energy, which contributes considerably towards the power used within our workshops.
Water
Most of the machines in our workshops are water fed. We harvest rainwater, and most water used throughout the workshops is recycled through our water plant, thus reducing our fresh water usage to a minimum.
Stone waste
Any stone waste we create is removed in a skip to be crushed and re-used for aggregate.
